School Hill crumbling wall: please could we ask any residents affected or concerned to log their concerns with Somerset Council at Report A Problem On The Roads - choose the 'bridges & retaining walls' option. The more residents who do so will hopefully escalate the issue. The postcode, if needed, is BA5 1BZ. Wookey Hole Caves have already done so more than once, and the Parish Council has too.
Additionally, Wookey Hole Caves are keen to let residents be aware that the trees and space at the top of School Hill are carefully managed and maintained, with regular surveys and expert input: any issues are therefore monitored.
Please do contact the parish council if you've any queries: Lisa at
22nd June Greenbush Nature Reserve (Doctors Hill, Wookey) open day – open between 11am - 4pm . Young reserve started in 2014, fast developing. Donations of cakes for the event would be appreciated.
