For over 20 years butterfly species and numbers in fields above Wookey Hole have been recorded weekly (weather permitting!) between April and September of each year by a small team of volunteers and the results transferred to a national database, currently managed by Butterfly Conservation.
We are now looking for new members to make sure that the recording can continue.
You would walk a route above Wookey Hole perhaps once every 4 weeks that would
take 1 ½ to 2 hours. We don’t walk in the rain!
